Step 1: Get in contact with us to arrange for a video survey or get a quote online.

Step 2: You will be assigned a Move Manager who will talk you through the international removals process in great detail.

Step 3: We will book your move in and organise the logistics to get your goods to the UAE.

Step 4: Move day will soon come around and we will pack and ship your belongings to the UAE.

Step 5: Our international agents in the UAE will arrange the customs clearance and delivery of your goods to your new home.

In our many years as an established removal company to the UAE, we have mastered the art of shipping just about everything as part of our international removals to UAE service.

UAE, much like every country, has a list of restricted and prohibited items that you won’t be able to take with you. However, if UAE allows it – we’ll move it!

For a comprehensive list of items you can or cannot send as part of your removals to UAE, your moving coordinator will be able to help.

Our international removals to the United Arab Emirates services are tailored to accommodate a variety of requirements.

The method of transit you choose for your international move will affect the overall cost. Depending on your budget and time frame, our experts would recommend different options. Your goods can be sent via sea or air freight, although sea freight is more commonly used for large domestic removals.

The air freight method is recommended for smaller moves since air freight costs are calculated based on the weight of your removals, so it can be fairly expensive.

If you are looking for a cheaper removal solution, we would suggest using sea freight. Within sea freight, you will have a range of options regarding the container you choose to use. Depending on the volume of your goods, one option may be better suited than the other.

Our packing options also vary in costs. You can either pack up yourself, and we can provide the packing materials or you can ask us to pack up the contents of the property for you. With international moving, our full packing service tends to be more popular as our professional team of packers can ensure your goods will be safe during transit.

AEAnglo Pacific offer a range of overseas removal services to meet your needs. If you are unsure as to what option is most suitable for you, our expert team will be on hand and happy to talk through your choices.

Your goods can be moved to the UAE via two transit options, either by:

Air freight

We can send your goods to the UAE via air. Your goods will be packed and collected by our removals team and transported to the airport, where they will be loaded onto a plane.

At destination, your goods will be unloaded and picked up by our destination agents in the UAE. They will then arrange the customs clearance and delivery of your goods.

Sea freight

We can also use sea freight to transport your goods to the UAE. Your goods will be packed and collected by our removals team, loaded onto a container and transported to port. At the port, your container will be loaded onto the container ship heading for the UAE.

At destination, your goods will be unloaded and collected by our destination agents in the UAE. They will then arrange the customs clearance and delivery of your goods.

We offer three container options for customers sending their goods to the UAE via sea.

Full container load – If you are moving the entire contents of a large property, then you may require a whole 20ft or 40ft container. You will pay for the entire container, and this will only contain your goods.

Groupage – We regular consolidate Groupage shipments to the UAE. A Groupage container is a container filled with your goods and other Anglo Pacific customers, who are moving their goods to the same destination. With our Groupage service, you only pay for the space you take up in the container. This method is better if you are moving a few rooms worth of goods, or a smaller property.

Lesser container load – This when you share a container with other people who are sending their goods to the UAE. Unlike Groupage, this consolidation will not be made up of Anglo Pacific’s customers.

Whilst our expert packers will take very special care of your goods, it is always a good idea to take our insurance for peace of mind as we cannot control every eventuality.

We recommend you discussing your available insurance options with your Move Manager, as we offer an ‘All Risks’ policy to all customers moving abroad. This will cover you from the point we collect your goods, until the final delivery in the UAE.

There are a number of documents you will need to ensure you have, before you send your goods to the UAE… otherwise, you will be unable to ship!

To import household goods you will need:

Passport copy
Valid UAE residence visa – this needs to be stamped

If you are importing a car into the UAE you will need:

Commercial invoice / purchase invoice
Passport copy
Residence visa
Proof of Ownership
